Introduction

Professor Rana K. Williamson's ten years' teaching experience has made her especially sensitive to organization, issues of redundancy, and the use of strong verbs. As a computer consultant, she has undertaken technical writing projects that have required the sifting and reordering of materials to more clearly communicate a concept or point.
